The key objective of the role is to ensure that our engineering and AI/ML capabilities are used effectively and efficiently to meet our client’s needs, assure successful project delivery, and provide excellent management and support for our team. This role also involves line management and offers an opportunity to play a significant part in the organization’s growth by nurturing our team’s professional development and driving initiatives to refine and improve our internal practices.

Responsibilities:

  • assume end-to-end responsibility for the successful delivery of software projects, ensuring high standards in the project planning, execution, and closing stages,
  • track project performance to anticipate potential risks, take proactive measures to address them, and manage communication comprehensively,
  • strive to exceed client expectations by delivering projects that consistently meet quality standards while ensuring reliable execution and attention to detail,
  • establish efficient communication among all project stakeholders and team members, including client partners, technical leads, and the delivery team; collaborate closely with the client in an agile manner, ensuring precise project requirements collection, and effective cooperation,
  • identify resource needs, including team skills and size during the project development time and while preparing project proposals, scoping, and other preparatory stages; manage project timelines and budgets effectively,
  • gain a comprehensive understanding of the client’s needs, business models, and AI-related opportunities; ensure that our technical solutions are both impactful and highly relevant to client needs; additionally, seek opportunities for growth and cooperation expansion,
  • manage people effectively, conduct 1-on-1 meetings, foster a culture of professional excellence and continuous learning within the project team and direct reports, your focus should be on building strong relationships and trust,
  • display readiness to get involved in recruitment and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role,
  • demonstrated success in managing and delivering complex software projects, with an understanding of Agile methodologies and the software/application development lifecycle,
  • proven experience working closely with clients, comprehending their needs, and translating those needs into effective technology solutions,
  • understanding of contemporary technology stacks and familiarity with diverse software solution architectures,
  • demonstrated leadership and people management skills with the ability to foster a culture of professional growth and excellence within the team,
  • a genuine interest in AI/ML and a solid understanding of foundational concepts are essential; the ability to effectively communicate with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers, speaking their language fluently, is required,
  • excellent English communication skills (C1 level) for effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders.
